Skiing each winter for a month. My worthless advice? Keep moving,keep active. Eat healthy food. Don't waste your joints tearing them up in a gym,tear them up doing something useful. Carry old folks groceries. Take a disabled child for a run pushing their wheelchair. Don't watch sports,play them. Start a healthy life young,you're going to need a working body for a long time.

  36. I went to England several years ago and was surprised by the number of Romanians working in pubs and hotels. Speaking English more fluently than locals they were more presentable and friendly. They also were well educated. I asked English people what they thought of Romanian immigrants. There were no negative comments. I went to engineering school that was attended by members of a middle eastern air force. There were city men and desert men. The desert men were lean,hardened and fierce. The city men were soft,humorous. Not one of them would have even given thought to conduct unbecoming of a gentleman or violating their status as guests in another country. She didn't understand my laughter,even when I suggested she tell her boyfriend. Gaslighting ensued for a while and I'd asked her if she was keeping"it". I didn't move but drove her and mother in law to the hospital for the birth. The next day my friends mother called to say she was dead. This was someone I'd met briefly at a seminar two years earlier and told that as a married man I couldn't cheat on my wife. After the good news I'd found her and explained I would be divorced and we agreed to meet on my return. We divorced and I manipulated my income to her lawyer so that he claimed a huge amount of child support that I proved false,discrediting them both. After it was settled I took her to one side and told her how I couldn't be the father and this could be verified by testing. Very expensive at the time. How her family would find out,as would mine. How she had perjured herself in court and how difficult it would be if she signed papers to pursue me. I gave her a smile and left. For years I celebrated that day with champagne. I haven't drunk anything in years and no longer find it celebratory. She repeated the pattern again. The kids grew up and third time she found someone to emigrate with. My next one was even worse and nearly cost me my life. The first and second became fast friends these last years,though they live a quarter of the world apart. The End.

She cannot work outside of the bar she is registered to. She cannot work outside of the five economic zones. A married person engaging in bedroom activities is committing a felony. The non married partner is not. The age of consent of a woman outside the economic zone is north of 21 unless she is married. She considered it unmanly for me to be protected by her and gave me her 1911 when we went out. She was a very conservative,traditional woman. However,there have been women warriors in Thailand for centuries. Modern tourism is like smelling a "curry" for the first time without knowing what it tastes like. My experience of Japan was like this in comparison to the Edo period.

  97. I don't care for casual tourism. Unless I'm going somewhere for a specific purpose, I am there by accident. For example,stopping for fuel or food delivering a boat. Changing planes en route. I really hate being illiterate. So migrating to Japan was extremely difficult and all my waking time was spent absorbing that language with its unique scripts. It wasn't until I knew enough about art,music and drama to ask questions about them that I became accepted to the fringes of groups as an oddity. The gaijin that painted,played koto and wrote haiku years before these were commonly known in the west. This has stayed with me throughout my life and has added color and texture to it. My advice to young men is to throw yourself at the world and see where you stick. The rich diversity of humanity is our strength.

The wife drove me to another chiropractor. Straightened up and he found left leg shorter than right. Made a heel pad and I've been good to go since. Two damaged vertebrae L4 and L5 have fused. Not something I want to load up. Collapsed neck bones from accelerating backwards too fast to avoid an accident that disabled me,cutting off my left hand at the forearm,and cutting out the main upper arm muscle. The hand was reattached, the first, with 10 hours of surgery. An experiment that worked! There isn't muscular symmetry now and I've learned moves that tend to jerk my spine to one side and I'm cautious when lifting and twisting. Three things I can do for exercise cycling, swimming and skiing don't need a gym. Climbing stairs is good for leg strength when skiing. We heal and adapt as best we can.
