  3. This is a difficult subject for a Western man to comment on. The dynamics of a Chinese family are different to most Americans or Europeans. Two of the women didn't seem to be outrageous in their wants and were willing to provide for their own needs. Not a recipe for a guarantee of success but kudos for being willing to try. There was an image of a masculine woman towards the end that was the subject of a previous documentary. She ended up being married to a German. In China,as in the rest of the world,men realize that a commitment comes from them,not women. Unfortunately for Chinese men Western women are a worse choice. My late wife was half Chinese and I wouldn't even date a Western woman. Guess my expectations are too high.
