Age is relative. After 50 a guy who had children will certainly go for a younger woman,even 44 years old. However it's not the age. A woman who's single at 44 is also a failure at relationships,and OPENLY ADMITS IT!

@jdlech widows are taken to be an exception. Unless they were the cause of widowhood.

@Bowhunte5588 my late wife's first marriage was arranged and she didn't find out for months that she was a second wife. She immediately left and divorced him. She concentrated on starting and expanding a business in a European country. Was successful. Later she returned to her country of origin where I met her when she was 50. We married 3.5 years later. She died 3.5 years later. I've been celebate and single since. My lady friend is exactly that. A platonic friend.
