  1. 21:05 Lots of this "F11 doesn't work" crap is actually broken hardware that's "fixed" by the Windows drivers created by said manufacturer applying all kinds of workarounds to make it appear working. Linux doesn't have such workarounds because Linux assumes you have working hardware. You can still workaround hardware issues (even partially broken RAM) if you spend enough time to learn to do that but I'd recommend getting non-broken hardware instead if you have an option. The non-broken hardware works better with Windows, too, as a bonus.

  3. The best way to explain why to learn to use terminal is to compare it to chatbots. If you can write exactly what you want, why would you want to click though menus to find exact menu items to click instead? I understand that if you cannot write, being able to click through menus is better than doing nothing but the terminal isn't that hard to learn.
