  1. Great video. The only part missing was how long should you expect a high quality bed sheets to last. We had mid-priced cotton satin sheets that lasted around 8 years and I don't know if that's a good or bad result.

  2. Why tread count costs more: when the fabric is manufactured, the machine can create constant count of threads per hour. If you use thicker yarn and lower count, the same machine can output more fabric per hour.

  3. Do higher end bed sheets use multilayer weave patterns? (That is, multiple yarns stacked depthwise in the final material with orthogonal yarns going between those yarns, or below both or above both.)
