  2. It seems that the motors in those battery powered tools were much better. I wish some manufacturer made brushless corded tools where the cost would be cheaper than the battery powered model but the performance could be better than any battery powered tool or existing corded tools. That said, maybe market for such tools is too small to be worth the effort to the manufacturers. Does anybody manufacture high power inverter with a corded connector that interfaces with these powertools (that is, basically a battery shaped adapter with a cord to the inverter to output constant DC voltage and as high current as needed)? That would allow getting those battery operated tools with high quality motors without needing to invest into batteries so much. And as a bonus you would get battery operated tools for rare cases where you cannot use cord.
