  1. It would be interesting to see if TS100 soldering iron is hot enough to allow Hobart welding rods to be used. That would allow field repairs without gas or open flame. Just some Li-Po batteries, Hobat welding rods and TS100 soldering iron. Officially TS100 goes up to 450 °C so in theory it should be fine.
