  1.  @Leopardipzg  The mini series is just extended cut of the movie. The series has all the stuff in the theatrical version + 1.5 hours of extra material. I personally think the theatrical version was better but if you want to make it longer, go with the series format. Audio design is pretty great, too, so you should have a proper home theater speakers or use headphones.

  2. The movie version simply cuts all the waiting scenes. I think the series is more realistic because in real war, you often wait until combat interaction (lots of stuff happening in short timeframe) and then you wait more. If you cut all the waiting, the overall feeling will be different. And the waiting is stressful because you cannot know if the next attack is going to happen in 5 minutes or 5 days.
