  1. Fracking for geothermals makes sense if you actually use potable water only. The problem with that combined with high temperatures is that it's really corrosive and can cause minerals for detach from the ground and mess all nearby ground water. In addition, that's really corrosive to the pumps and piping, too. If you can handle all those issues, I totally agree that fracking for geothermals is the way to go.
