  1. Human body is insanely complex. Remember that we do not have actuators that can push, only pull. When you stand still, your muscles are working hard because your bones would twist all over the place and you would collapse if muscles do not keep you balanced at all times. This has some side-effects, too. Your neck can get sore if the muscles in your calves are too tight because all the muscles from your calves to your neck work non-optimally and your back will twist incorrectly as a result.
