@ColinKip Isn't training also giving artificial advantage against others? You cannot have any other regulation but arbitrary decisions, typically made by a committee.

Sporting regulations will always be totally arbitrary. If you wanted to be totally fair, you would also ban all kind of training because that obviously improves performance! On the other hand, it seems that people are not interested in sports where you're basically comparing genes either which would be the ultimate end goal if you want to ban every performance increasing tech or method.
