As a foreigner trying to communicate in English, this mostly made sense to me, but the examples where you used grave accent were not helpful anymore. I think the only way to really fix homographs is to fix the words. Having a grave accent on "lesser used word" has zero benefit because I could simply learn the non-logical pronunciation instead of trying to remember statistical probability of a word occurrence. However, writing all those extra marks manually would seem pointless to me. It would make much more sense to write as nowadays and simple use computer to add the missing marks and use AI to deduce the correct variant from the context if latin letters would match multiple options. As a result, this requires no extra effort from the writer and it could be applied by the client software of the user that's reading the text. As a bonus, you could tweak which marks you want to see as a reader, instead of the writer deciding it for you.
