@Phillip Banes There are no Finnish car brands. The closest there ever was would be the Saab but that doesn't exist anymore.

@Phillip Banes Saab-Valmet Oy was founded in 1968 and it was a joint company owned partially by Finnish government via their ownership of Valmet. But I agree that Saab was mostly Swedish, which is why I used the expression the closest you can get.

The fact that the stripes were curved but now s-shaped tells me that the curtains are not slowing down in front of the image area. The spring is basically pushing more speed over the whole distance but the increase gets slower and slower when spring is losing energy and shutter blade is already moving pretty fast.

It's indeed interesting how simple neurons are and yet we still don't have a clear explanation what's the brain's equivalent to the back propagation algorithm used for computer AI systems.
