@FrenchValleyAirport So basically their point is if you have poor time planning and have too little time for the trip you cannot use Model X to tow big trailer because you have to run maximum legal speed all the time.

@FrenchValleyAirport For this specific trip they obviously had time to plan but decided to wing it. I'm towing with an old diesel but I still have some sense over speed I use because high speed means high cost due aero.

Unless you have something important to do while you charge batteries, you should always slow down with the trailer if you tow with a Tesla: https://youtu.be/Q6LRnTSuNeA You would have been much sooner in the destination if you hadn't tried to keep 75 mph because that just ended up wasting all the time for charging.
