7:00 You cannot open properly locked handcuffs this easily. Real handcuffs have double locking mechanism and opening the lock requires first opening the double locking part and only then doing the part shown in this video. And you can do both with a strong paperclip but I'm pretty sure that the flimsy one shown in this video cannot open the double locking part because it has pretty strong spring to overcome.

3:33 The amount you need to move the dials depends on lock. You specific lock required 5 but it's much easier to just try up to 10 times to get the lock open. Try if the lock is open already. If not, add 1 to every wheel and try again. After repeating this up to 9 times, the lock will open.

2:15 Pro tip: the helmet provides zero safety when you fall if you don't clip the strap closed.

If you have the budget, try getting a padlock with Abloy Protec core and try that one. That would be hard even for LPL (there are only videos of LPL picking Abloy Classic core which is nearly a century older design than Protec). Unless you know that the attacker only has a sledgehammer, you shouldn't focus on BIG padlock but the core inside it.

@theelevatedone1630 Matt "Huxleypig" Smith has already done video about how he pickedb the Bowley lock. Currently Abloy Protec 2 is the hardest lock to pick (still about normal size padlock). I know three people that have picked one but I'm pretty sure none of those were blind pick. If you want harder than that, Group 1R safe lock is always an option but those are big and must be fitted in a safe.

Great work on those low end locks! You're now ready to try picking cheap Chinese disc detainer lock and if you can get that open, then an Abloy Classic. (The About Classic design is from year 1907 but it's still way better than 99% of all the locks you can in local hardware store. If course, more modern Abloy locks are even better.)
