This story makes me wonder if every car owner should own his or her own scan tool able to scan coding and fault codes of all the modules in the car. And whenever the car is serviced anywhere, the owner verifies the changes made by himself or herself to make sure the car is at least in similar condition as before the service. It's definitely not okay to get any new faults whenever a car is serviced by a competent mechanic. But if you cannot be for sure that the mechanic is competent, you have to do the QA by yourself instead of trusting the mechanic. It's important to understand that not all faults light up the warning light in the instrument cluster but every fault is still worth knowing and following any changes related to it if it doesn't make monetary sense to fix.

Interesting video! I think you should get either a head mount or chest mount stand for your camera so that you can use both hands while working with the engine and shooting the video. And possibly some extra lights to throw in small spaces so you can get better video.

35:45 I fully agree that the wiring should be attached to the engine or car body. I don't always agree with the original support positions after fixing some wiring issues caused by combination of engine vibration over time vs original support position but I can say for sure that if you don't have any supports, the wiring will eat itself over time thanks to vibration and rubbing against something anyway. And it will happen for sure, not "wiring may eat itself".
