@chrisjones8379 Cameron is a deep dive engineer and innovator (with multiple inventions related to diving) first and only does movies as side-hustle to finance his actual projects.

The thing I still cannot understand is why bother with composite hull at all for a submarine. The only reason to use composite hull would be to reduce weight of the vehicle. As long as the whole vehicle float, it's lightweight enough and you don't need to use composite hull. Airplanes use composite materials because airplanes do not float (in air) without additional power.
