17:20 At least older VW cars allowed dropping the subframe around 5 cm simply by losing 4 big bolts that attach it to the body of the car. That was typically just enough for many maintenance jobs.

You are just one mad lad! Even I'm not insane enough to do clutch swap with such equipment. Other tasks were the things you do when you maintain your own car.

2:25 Yet another example why everybody needs a 360 degree 24/7 camera recording nowadays. There are just way too much selfish drivers out there that destroy your car and flee without a trace. However, if you have video recording of them, police will help you track them down and get them pay for repairs.

7:53 With VW cars with brake issues, it's always one of the following: (1) rusted caliper cylinder, or (2) rust or crap in the sliding poles that allow the caliper to float around the disk. Typically it's the (2) but you cannot know without tearing things away quite a lot. And if you see (1) you either were unlucky to have broken rubber seal or you did skip brake fluid changes and there's water in your brake fluid which causes things to rust inside the cylinder.

33:00 DO NOT USE acetone on the bonnet! Get a high quality glue removal and it will work magically with zero damage to the paint. I've used product called PRF Label Off but I guess there are other products that work equally well.

33:45 There's also 3rd way where you trigger the DPF burn with the computer and then drive it around 80 km/h and 2800 RPM for about 5 minutes. Then check the pressure difference (in Pa) before and after the DPF. Repeat until you get that low enough (I think less than 10 Pa on idle and less than 100 Pa when you floor it on neutral). When you trigger the burn with the computer and then ride it, the ECU will burn the DPF hotter and you get more sooth out and the engine makes more power and produces less pollution as a result. I did such DPF burn twice for our car about half a year ago. The reason you have to drive it for the max temp DPF burn is to avoid burning the whole car because the DPF gets around 800 °C hot so you need air from driving to cool down things under the bonnet. If you don't trigger the burn with a computer, the ECU may not do long enough burns to get extra sooth out. The default ECU burn assume that all the sensors have been working all the time.
