  1. My current estimate that AI will be able to do any 100% remote work around year 2035 and the only question is how much such AI will cost for the employer. One thing is totally obvious: AI will get cheaper every year and if the only reason humans do remote work in 2035 is that humans have better cost/performance value at that time. But surely GPT-then-current+1 or GPT-then-current+2 will be the more cost effective solution. AI revolution is no longer the question of "if" but "when". It currently seems that the safest occupation might be electricians or other jobs that require certification or government license to operate legally. I would assume that it will take quite some time before robot + AI will be certified safe enough.

  2.  @dogzer  That's simply my current estimate. Based on current speed of progress, I'm guessing that AGI will be invented around year 2030 and it will be then improved to be able to do any remote work around year 2035. Of course, predicting is hard and predicting future is especially hard, so we'll see how good an estimate I was able to create in about 10 years.
