  1. I think most people do not understand what "random" means in this context. Maybe ask for "Pick a number between 1 and 100 you think other people wouldn't pick" instead? There a truly random value would be the best option because you assume most people are not able to generate real random numbers at will. And the least "random" number would be "Pick a number between 1 and 100 you think most people will pick" – I'm pretty sure 7 would win that one in Western countries and 8 or 88 in Asia.
