As I see it, the weight of the empty hydrogen tank is already too much. Hydrogen is usually measured by weight because its volume changes a lot depending on temperature. The same would actually be true for gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, too, but there're historical reasons for measuring those by volume.

The major problem with T-tail is the possibility of deep stall – it'll be interesting to see how it will be solved for this aircraft. Hopefully they can do something better than "computers!"

@VestedUTuber I agree that you can create a working system with computers (I have written software for living 20+ years so I have some experience) but that's not easy nor cheap. If I remember correctly, some fighters use redundant computers which run software written by different people and every computer is supposed to come up with the same result for the same sensor input. When one of the computers emits different result, the other computers vote to use the most common result instead. This provides safety both against programming errors and hardware errors. Of course, you can always end up with something like MAX where only one angle-of-attack (AoA) sensor was used to avoid FAA rules that would have declared the AoA as critical if it were built redundant and that would have required a new type certification for the MAX. So they decided to use just one sensor and expect the pilots to control the plane if AoA sensor fails. It was fixed only after two major crashes and forced grounding of the whole fleet.
