  1. So... is this "SENT" just a new name for one-wire protocols commonly used already? That said, nice to see Tesla improving on the design of the door handle that much. The only better design would be a non-motorized door handle shaped to have similar air resistance in the wake turbulence of the side mirrors.

  2. Still doing the "press and hold the brake pedal for bleeding" thing with my dad. He's only 73 years old. When you have two knowledgeable people doing the job, pressing the brake pedal method is very fast and requires practically no setup.

  3. Original Chevrolet Volt (/Opel Ampera) did exactly that: EV car with small battery and built-in ICE generator. Unfortunately, it didn't sell well enough and it was cancelled. I would have wanted to have one with a bit more polisheshed technology but they cancelled the model maybe a couple of years before I would have considered it complete.

  4. The only way to not forget the nut before flaring is to follow aviation style checklist for every single nut. And following a full checklist for every nut gets really tedious, too. Basically, pick your poison.
