  1. 3:30 Without seeing the rest of the video I'd assume it's "water hammer" a.k.a. the volume of rapidly moving water hitting the bottom. And that movement is obviously caused by the vacuum. Similar mechanism is used during water forming to create curved surfaces out of metal for some cars.
