  1. Of course, that makes this jigsaw robot only able to solve one specific type of puzzles. Give it "Jigsaw19" or "Jigsaw29" by Yuu Asaka and it would fail misrably if it tries to find clearly matching pieces.

  2. Let this robot try solve something actually hard such as 9 piece "Ice 9 Puzzle" or 19 piece "Jigsaw19", both by Yuu Asaka. To get some idea why these might be hard to solve you only need to know that Jigsaw19 requires you to fill in square bottom plate using transparent jigsaw puzzle pieces. The hard part is that for all the 19 pieces, you cannot know which side is up and all 19 pieces are corner pieces even though the final completed solution only has 4 corners. Imagine a puzzle with similar idea but scaled to hundreds of pieces! Even these 9 piece or 19 piece puzzles are very demanding for humans.
