  1.  @darekmistrz4364  Open diff + selective braking + so much power that you can lose traction even with the partial braking applied is as good as a real LSD if you don't mind the brakes heating pretty fast. A well implemented LSD can simply do the same thing with smaller losses (which means less heat, too).

  2. Does the Tesla use mechanical brakes for stability control / traction control or only motor power? If mechanical brakes are used, then that would explain why brakes fade so fast.
