  1. It seems that the logic for the beeps could be "rear tyres are rotating at least 5% slower than the front tyres". That way you get beeps if the rear slides around even if you don't touch the brakes.

  3. Other commenters wrote that it could be brake fluid level being too low and g-forces pushing the fluid to the side in the container causing the sensor to see too low fluid level. It's pretty sad that a car with "RS" badge cannot have a two line of text on the instrument panel. Even 20 year old Passat can show simple messages such as "handbrake on" vs "brake fluid low" on the instrument panel.
