  1. We need a followup video for this one. Was the brake fluid bad or too low, or what happened? It's definitely not expected to fully lose the brakes even when heated up. In addition, the warning for "assist for low brake performance" come up with THE FIRST TIME you applied heavy braking at 5:35 so it was definitely caused by something else but heating up.

  2. I think the car was actually broken before starting the lap. Notice that the warning "assist for low brake performance" appeared the first time the brakes were actually used at 5:35 so that cannot be caused by overheating. Since the owner said that he never actually used the brakes but used regen braking only, it might be that the brakes have been broken for quite some time already without the owner noticing anything. All Tesla owners should do at least one heavy breaking a week to make sure the brakes are still working.
