  1. This really shows how good F1 drivers are. He used every millimeter of the track and seemed to be in control all the time. And in typical F1 driver style he brakes sooner before corners and goes to accelerator much earlier than many people.

  2.  @konradkubala51  Exactly! And the reason this works is that (most) cars have higher performance brakes than the engine power so you should optimize the acceleration, not the braking. Even F1 cars have better brakes than engine power so they brake as late as possible without sacrificing the acceleration after the corner.
