  1. I hope you can figure out what failed in the brakes. Even if brake booster had failed you probably have strong enough foot that that speed would have been at least slower during the crash. If a brake hose had failed, there should have still be two working wheel brakes in worst case and the pedal shouldn't have gone hard but go closer to the floor than usual. And from the description that sounds like the wheels didn't lock either so it shouldn't be ABS failure.
