  1. "The ring is pretty lenient on sound." I would say that's an understatement. The Ring limit of 129 dB is equal to running 2000 lawnmovers at full throttle side-by-side. A chainsaw running throttle wide open is about 106–110 dB! 110 dB is already loud enough to cause possible hearing loss in 2 minutes! 130 dB sound levels can cause permanent hearing damage for exposures exceeding 1 second, so that guy with too-loud-car hitting the limiter at the parking lot caused permanent hearing damage to everybody within ~5 meter radius from the car. Do you still think that 129 dB is "loo low limit for a race track"?
