  1. 1:40 If you "don't have time to change gears" to switch to correct gear when you need to accelerate, you should be practicing gear changes. If you're on incorrect gear, it will take more time to not change the gears because the engine will be so far away from the optimal rpm range that it will be faster to clutch in, switch gears, clutch out, press the accelerator pedal and still end up faster in the end than simply pushing the pedal to floor on wrong gear. If you don't want to practice, just get an automatic transmission already.
