@teleguy5699 If you have $30K extra, you should have gotten more expensive car with the features you actually wanted instead of tuning the cheaper one and potentially breaking it in the process.

@dontimlin4506 The fact that head gasket starts to leak may be caused by too much power for those head bolts. At least for tuning VW TDI, you typically have to replace the stock head bolts with something that doesn't have so much springiness. The leak pattern at 26:52 looks interesting though. The pattern matches with the support structures on the right which makes me wonder if the part was milled too hot and the resulting surface wasn't flat. I would expect this to be computer controlled in the factory, though, so it doesn't seem probable cause. Or the engine overheated especially at those parts as a result of those support structures and the real cause was tune and/or running the engine too hot.

I would say it depends on your insurance contract. I would guess most Mercedes owners do not cheap on the insurance so there the insurance probably covers even user mistakes like this. I'd hate to be customer of such a company because I'd be financing idiot drivers with my insurance payments.

How on Earth a car gasoline engine can cost equally much as full battery pack for Tesla Cybertruck?

Wow! That water pump design looks really really expensive. Imagine trying to replace that in a car + the part is huge which really large precisely machined surface. The water pump alone for this thing must cost about the same as whole cylinder head for a normal engine. Overall, it looks like very little design effort was put to make maintaining this engine cheaper.

Damn shame that the owner tried to use this engine to drive a sub.

30:30 You probably should heat the cover to get it off. Some sealants are designed to be really hard when cool, similar to locktite.
