  1. I guess it might be about cultural differences but the way you communicate would be considered just fine here in Finland. I'm just disappointed that one human (CT Wilson) can block the process in Maryland. That said, I agree that it's still okay to apologize because if the other party fails to understand your communication, there's still something to improve. You can honestly apologize your failure to communicate in style that allows the opponent to understand you even if everything you said was true. The bottom line is that when people feel attacked (even with true facts) they start to get defensive even if they were wrong. The hard part is to get the other party to understand that they are wrong without getting them feel attacked.
