  1. Unauthorized parts maybe have higher quality than the original parts. For example, when I used to purchase OEM ball joints for my car, I had to replace those ball joints every 2–3 years because the OEM part was not strong enough for the weight of the car. I then upgraded to truly high quality aftermarket part I haven't needed to replace the same part in a decade! Even thinking that OEM got every part perfect before they started to sell the product is insane.
