  1. The Framework laptop is actually the first laptop that I would be happy to get with my own money. They just need to have a plan to allow getting improved motherboards in the future. I'm currently using PC where the case is from year 2009, motherboard is 2012, latest SSD is from 2020 etc. Laptops do not allow doing this. Until the Framework laptop, which could actually do this! The Framework laptop only needs a plan of a design where they can now sell you motherboard with integrated graphics but they have a plan where the same space is possible to contain replacement motherboard with Ryzen + dedicated GPU without replacing the case, keyboard display and all storage plus replaceable connectors. And sell all the parts with sensible margins so that I can sell my motherboard with integrated graphics to somebody else instead of trashing it, when I get an improved part! I'm running my 3rd motherboard and 2nd PSU inside my PC case. I see no problem doing that with a laptop when it has equally good design as Framework laptops.
