  1. ASUS is truly one of a kind. I tried to query spec of their display (ASUS VG27AQ1A). This is the actual customer support exchange: Me: "Is the 250 cd/m2 (or 250 nits) (1) the amount of light for constant light output or (2) the maximum brightness of a single strobe? With a 1 ms strobe required for 1 ms MPRT requires running backlight for only 1/16th of the time for 60 fps display. If strobe doesn't have higher maximum brightness, the visible amount of light with 1 ms strobes is only 1/16 * 250 nits = 15.6 nits. I hope that this display is not THAT dim with 1 ms MPRT. How bright it actually is? (e.g. average light output over 1 second period in nits when 1 ms MPRT is active.)" ASUS: "Because this question is very deep about the core of the technology and average consumer won't ask for so deep information, our HQ need more information about why you need this information and what you will use it for?" So I'm asking about inaccurate specs and instead of replying the data they ask "why do you need to know that?" I tried to explain that I need the info because I'm considering purchasing the display but if the display is too dim, I cannot use it so I need to know the spec before purchasing the monitor. Never got a response to my question.
