  1. I think world would be a much better place if people were direct and honest. Of course, you should still be polite, too. And everybody of us should learn to say no politely whenever it's needed. That is, if somebody has a discussion with you and asks you for a date, you should take it as a compliment. It's perfectly okay to answer "That's a nice offer but I prefer not to do that."
