@enrymion9681 The point of disregarding the CompTIA certification is to send clear signal that getting such certification is waste of your money and time. If I've understood correctly, getting CompTIA certification costs minimum of $300 even if you already know all the information in the exam and if companies commonly disregarded that paper, obviously you can find better ways to spend money. TL;DR: getting CompTIA certification should be considered to be zero value, not negative or positive.
