  2.  @michaelhoffmann510  I think color-proofing can be done pretty well nowadays using colord but once your creative guys ask for Adobe Suite, it's time to go with Windows or Mac OS because that's all that Adobe supports.

  3. The problem is, you don't own the software even if you purchase the hardware. You're only licensed to use it and using the software may require using special parts that are not publicly available. You also cannot modify the software because that's part of the license. And the software says NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND in capital letters. If this bothers you, I suggest looking towards Open Source and e.g. LineageOS.

  4. If they truly had a wonderful product, you can purchase it as long as you consider it one-time-use product. Do not expect any resale value, do not expect any problems to ever be fixed, do not expect the UI to stay same even if you like it.
