  1. It seems that researchers are a bit out of touch with reality if they think that the mayhem you can do in GTA is somehow recent twist. I remember playing GTA III in year 2001 and thinking that bumping over an elderly woman with a car, getting out of the car with a baseball bat and beating the woman to death and then stealing the ambulance that arrived to the scene would definitely be considered newsworthy when it comes amount of criminal activity in games. It appears that it took a couple of decades for researchers to notice this kind of games. I hope they check out GTA 6 a lot faster when it's published later this year.
