  1. I'm totally expecting ad blockers to improve enough to automatically workaround the adblocker. In theory, Youtube could be tracking for data transfers and force stopping the video for the time period the ad would play even if your adblocker can totally hide the ad unless you pay premium. However, enforcing the ad time by limiting data transfers gets pretty complex and fragile server side really fast so I would expect them to avoid solutions like that.
