  3.  @AvgeekRPLL  That's absolutely right. But if you want to get official stamp that FDA doesn't ban your optical product, you can do it. Basically "FDA Approved" means "we asked the FDA if they want to ban this product from market". Very easy to do for a product like this and if the expected user base is not too clever, they will fall for this marketing gimmick.
