  1. Pro tip: wrap a beach towel around the output hose. It will help getting the warm outside the apartment. Another tip: try to avoid getting any direct sunshine in through the windows; even a narrow slice of direct sunshine will include lots of infrared radiation which means more heat.

  2. Dual hose portable AC unit could use a LOT longer incoming air hose to help with the installation requirements. Only the exhaust hose should be kept pretty short because that hose gets really hot and is not insulated.
