  1. objection! those skeletons were made of a light material and in fact if they did weigh thousands of pounds then laura derm would have probably gotten crushed. it would be quite rare to have an actual full real fossilized skeleton of a full trex anywhere in public instead they are casts of a real one or sculptures based on real ones. they are also made in such a way to be assembled and transported easily or moreso than heavy fossilized bone would. my guess based on how the physics of them looked and how it looked when the bones were hitting the floor the suspended weight would have been under 300 lbs divided between all the ceiling anchor points. adding 2 adults 2 children and a ~400-500 lb animal plus the added stress of motion would definately give those lagbolts quite a bit of added strain
