I am Chinese living in the UK, I know how bad Wuhan was during the outbreak and now we see the dire situation unfolding in Italy in front of our eyes, so many are dying it is heartbreaking! Please please please UK take serious steps NOW to avoid becoming the next Italy, British people all you need to do is stay home only shopping for essentials for maybe up to 2 or most 3 months to stop the spread or at least to hugely reduce cases nationwide and save lives and not overwhelm the NHS, we can do it, be proactive NOW before it is too late, yes the economy will suffer but hopefully short term loss but it is better than let the virus become too wide spread and impossible to contain it this will cause long tern suffering to both people's lives and economy too. PLEASE TAKE ACTION NOW!

@Vermilion2049 No sadly, I don't think they have been listening, when huge numbers of people start dying like in Italy, they will have to wake up it is up to them at the end of the day... The UK stopped testing community cases, that means the numbers they publish are inaccurate, they will not be able to take the correct action based on inaccurate numbers but like you said, this will be the price to pay.
