@zhenyucai8688 What the F are you talking about? ''The police would drag you away'', lol, they are far too busy to care about you, NO ONE cares!
14
Too right!
14
@zhenyucai8688 It is always sad to see a brainwashed Chinese American, I feel sad for you!
13
@davidgeorge6066 What about a Chines guy? An average Chinese person is way more knowledgeable about the West than an average Westerner know about China. And NO, they are not brainwashed unlike Western people.
13
There is no real China expert in the Western MSM.

@rokko_fable Wake up already, there is no ''5 cent army'', they are normal people, not because they have a different opinion or an opinion you are not comfortable with or like then they must be ''5 cent army'' or trolls. You know there are non Westerners and/or Chinese people who don't hold a Western perspective here watching YouTube and making comments? I am an overseas Chinese, I am not a ''5 cent army'', otherwise I should have been a very rich person by now, lol.

@rokko_fable ''ccp only shows positive china news to their citizens, and negative foreign news. so that the chinese people believe their country and system is the best in the world. the 5-cent army try to accomplish the same goal on the internet with foreigners.'' What an utter nonsense. ''The Chinese people are all brainwashed and not capable of independent thinking'' narrative is like the oldest and most ridiculous anti China narrative your Western MSM ever brainwashed you with. Fact is the Chinese people know way more about the world than most Western people know about China. And Chinese people TRAVEL OUT of China too, you know? They can see with their own eyes, talk to their friends abroad, get world news on their phone and do their own research of what system is the best in the world, btw, there is NO best system in the world, and mostly there is NO ''5 cent army'', just some people with different views and facts that contrary to the BS your MSM fed you with.

This interview is brilliant!

@anti-consumerism6178 Do you speak for the Chinese people? Are you even Chinese, if not, shut up!
6
@Eira436 Hongkongers speak Cantonese, speaking Mandarin in Hong Kong could be discriminated on or even attacked.

So one sided it almost sounds like propaganda for the West, a shame, guess it pays and anti China subscribers love it.
2
Yeah, I have not heard Americans in the street of America spoke this well either, sorry.
2
@ricklin2804 I hope it is not NED, but it had gone very political
2
@kantynory2840 what a bunch of brainwashed BS, it is funny
2
@leejianne5342 Thy are brainwashed to think ''democracy and freedom'' is the best thing humankind could have, but as you say, it will only end up ruin everything, just look at the capital riot and the out of control pandemic in the US, China says no thank you very much.
2
The long democratic tradition of the US is no longer looked up to by many Chinese, sorry Americans, your democracy is becoming a joke.

A bit off? A lot off, but then a lot of Hongkongers are brainwashed by the Western media, and know very little of Hong Kong's history.
1
Poor and agenda driven questions from the interviewers, poor selection of interviewees, wrong city to take the interview to start with, you just can't trust Asian Boss for being objective, something is just not right.
1
@SakuraReel So one sided how is that random
1
@damienmarsic Very well said, thank you!

@jacksonbrown4112 Totally Ignorant comment on every level, most Hongkongers don't speak good English and Mandarin. The Western influence and philosophy is limited, they celebrate Chinese cultures and traditions even more than the Mainland Chinese, the British never gave Hongkongers democracy, most locals were treated like second class citizens under the British rule when the governors were appointed by the queen. Hong Kong's economic success and wealth status has a lot to do with the rapid economical development of China, most foreign owned businesses in Hong Kong would confirm this. Hong Kong's water supply, fresh produce and waste management is largely provided by the mainland, yes it is indeed very hard to give these all up, because it wouldn't survive on its own.
