It was Dr Zhangjixian who reported early cases to the local health commission of Wuhan and an official written warning was consequently issued to the public and health care professionals before Dr. Li shared it in a private chat group to his fellow doctors and close friends. So this information was not ''suppressed'' as Western media wants people to believe but rather the warning was not taken seriously by the public and hospitals as there was a lack of understanding of the virus and the speed it spreads. But believe whatever you want to believe knowing the Western media is consistently biased against China.

He is more than a medical professional, he should be invited to the US to be the anti China propagandist for the US government, what era does he think he lives in, I bet he wouldn't dare say the same thing if there was enough evidence to suggest the US should be investigated about the virus by the WHO, who does he think he is, yes China is a sovereign nation, and just for this reason alone, it could refuse anyone from coming into the country.

I wonder if the US would allow permissions for investigation if the virus was first discovered or possibly originated in the US, it is all good to imply how China would react, but please don't apply double standard just because your preconceived bias about China, you are clearly playing politics here Dr. Campbell which is what you repeatedly say you won't do, and you are very biased when it comes to China, I noticed this since long ago. BTW, why do you think the US quit the WHO? And should we investigate the US as well since it has handled the virus very badly and there were already antibodies detected in patients' blood samples back in Dec 2019? Lots to look into by scientists from the world including Chinese scientists would you agree?

If wearing masks could save your life, why do you care if that is not part of your culture, I am sorry this mentality in the West is silly and this is not the time to care about looking pretty or weak or whatever, the Asian countries have been wearing masks since 4 months ago and it slowed the spread massively, but for the West there is still no sign of mass mask wearing, especially here in the UK.

  15.  @bathhatingcat8626  China discovered an outbreak of an unknown disease in Wuhan in December, and informally notified WHO on 31st Dec 2019 and Wuhan health commission issue a warning to its medical professionals and public of the presence of this disease. A formal report was given to WHO on 3 Jan 2020. WHO then informed the CDC of US and health authorities of other countries on the same day. There were however not enough evidence around this time to suggest human to human transmission. As cases increases and first death occurred scientists in China sequenced the virus’s genome and made it available on Jan. 10 to WHO. On the 15th Jan the Wuhan health commission stated that human to human transmission is possible and multiple measures such as temperature checks and advice for the public to wear masks rolled out in Wuhan. At 10 am on the 23rd of Jan, Wuhan government declared the highest level of health emergency and sealed of all ports in Wuhan and large scale quarantine started in the whole Hubei province. On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the 2019-nCoV outbreak a public health emergency of international concern confirming human to human transmission. So when you say all throughout Jan to Feb China was trying to cover this up is simply lies, you don't live in Wuhan and don't work for a Chinese company as you claim, because you said it yourself, your company sent you an email telling you this virus is spreading, where did your company get the information from? I can only think of it was the local health authority of Wuhan sent a message to warn everyone. So if China was trying to cover up, how come you get an email telling you the truth? In fact China didn't even cover it up for 3 week, they had a delayed response due to the virus being new and they did not know fully the extend the contagiousness of the virus, you really should try better as just simply claiming you live in Wuhan to gain credibility is more than embarrassing, and since China is so evil, what are you doing there apart from trying to profit from the large Chinese market and economy? Don't you feel ashamed of yourself to continue working inside a horrible country? Try better next time!

Talking about China's cover up that costed lives, but what about UK government's deliberate inaction or the given up attitude of letting 80% population getting infected to develop an unproven herd immunity? Is this criminal? The hypocrisy from the West is so bad not to mention the murders of lives at the hands of Western governments for the sake of saving money! At least China treated and tested the sick for free, a country who is accused of violation of human rights all the time by the West, valued life more in this instance!

  17. The report also say the virus found on a patient from the US (first reported case in the US) match the virus found in bats. However samples from early Wuhan cases related the wet market do not match virus found in in bats. It is indicating the virus could have came from outside Wuhan. The local disease control of Wuhan issued warnings as early as 30th Dec, but general public did not take enough notice and precautions.
