  1. I still hear Westerners talking about ''Chinese steal US/Western tech'', this is just a racist talking point, Westerners don't want to admit. That is one reason prob the main reason why the US/West didn't bother looking into Chinese tech advancements, until the day they realised they neither have that ''stolen'' tech nor the expertise to even understand how they work. This superiority mindset is why the US/West is losing its competitive edge, the US/West needs its own ''Century of Humiliation''.

They'd rather bury their heads in the sand, facing reality is harsh, since the great American democracy means they have pretty much no say in their gov't policies, the US/West would rather sanction China to suppress its progress than make themselves more competitive. You can't wake up those who pretend to be asleep.
