  1. As a Chinese live in the UK, I am certain there is no way the West could deal with it any better than China, first of all, people will not accept to be quarantined like people of China and second the health care system will just simply paralyze with even 5% more additional patients as there are simply not enough staff and facilities to cope. Right now I have to wait for at least 4 hours in A&E to be seen and weeks for a GP appointment. So while the West is quick to criticise China for this that and the other but it really will not do any better than China.

  2. As a Chinese I can tell you that it will be illegal to trade or consume wild animals in China from now on, China is not the only country that has been eating some wild animals and not all Chinese people eat them just so you know, so don't generalise.

  3.  @hmckinnon1974  It is an unfortunate situation that this started in China, no one tried to create such virus intentionally. The cold and flu kill hundreds of thousands every year in the West but you don't hear it in the headlines, no one is blaming anyone for it and the West is certainly no better at dealing with it than China. One thing is for sure that it will be illegal to trade wild animals and consume them but it won't mean there will not be new virus passing onto human again in the future though.
