@don-cw1yz Lol, the US is among the first countries to violate international laws by invading sovereign countries without the UN agreement and authorisation and has routinely unilaterally withdrawn from many international treaties and agreements. Since when does US laws apply to any other independent nations?

@Ṽïkiṇḡ--ṝ-w Yes China has the right to imprison people from other countries when they committed Chinese crimes, this is no different from whichever country you are from. But as for Meng, she has not committed any crime in Canada, why should they arrest her? Even the US has not presented any evidence to prove she is guilty, Canada is detaining her for no reason at all.

The Western MSM deliberately brainwash and outright lie to their people about China so that most of them continue to form a very negative image of China and remain ignorant about it. They make people fearful of China so they will conform to the Western ideology agenda and ''values''. But the truth is the West has done worse in many regards such as human rights violations, war crimes etc... but they continue to paint China the bad guy, that is the Western MSM bulls*** for you... First most pro China comments are not from ''50 cents'', they are just ordinary people who want to speak out for China against unbearable lies from the West. But you use it as a stupid lame label you put on people when you are out of argument. Problem is do you believe me if I say there are no expanding muslin concentration camps in China and link you a video from a Chinese news media? You would call it propaganda because you refuse to acknowledge the Chinese side of the story. Tibet has been part of China since the Yuan dynasty from 1290 so how does China invade a ''country'' when it has been belonging to China all along, in fact the British tried to invade it in 1903 and killed 600 Tibetans. You can read the history of Tibet on Wikipedia instead of believing the Western MSM's lies. Chinese does not hate the ordinary people in the West in fact they admire them generally in many regards, but we hate being maliciously lied and smeared at by their medias and politicians. Again believe what you want to believe but make sure you don't lie about China because there will always be people come out to defend the truth and it is their right to do so.

Ipostle I think you got the order wrong buddy, a person is innocent until proven guilty. No country has the right to detain anyone without presenting clear evidence and there is certain number of hours (not weeks) you can detain someone legally for questioning. She is used as a bargaining chip, everyone knows it even Trump acknowledged it. Seems you are the only one in the dark.

Mario Lopez No, China does not operate that way, yes this is one thing you are right about, as a Chinese myself, I think I know better than you what is going on between my country and Canada. You have obviously not sensed that I am being a little sarcastic when I say it is a fair deal to release the Canadians in return for Meng's release. What I meant was the opposite because swapping an innocent hostage with some criminals is not a fair deal. If Canada is wise it should do the right thing now before it is too late.

@Lars Rasmussen , I hope China will take some serious further actions to give Canada a hard lesson and wake them up to the reality that China is not a push-over anymore.
